Scott was killed flying his gryrocopter shortly after receiving his gryrocopter license. And now the important part of this story...

One of the best aspects of powered paragliding is the people. It doesn't take long to figure that out in this sport. There's something about this form of flight that we desperately want to share and celebrate with others who have the passion and with those who have yet to discover it. These words were inspired by having had the privilege of sharing time with Scott Adair.

Of all the kindness and generosity and soul that permeates the powered paragliding community, Scott Adair was as pure as it gets. With a permanent smile and an contagious postive energy, Scott contributed to so many of us.
